The Fire Festival
The Fire Festival in Österbybruk, Sweden.
The fire festival is celebrated on the second weekend of August just before the school starts. Young and old volunteers are working around the clock for one whole week in order to create an end of summer celebration with lights and fire and water features on the local lake. And of course, lots of great music ,fireworks and a Funfair.
It has been an annual event for the last 81 years, and people comes from near and far in order to help out with creating the festival.
